This misalignment throws off the voice coil’s movement, leading to distorted audio or even permanent damage if ignored. Before diving in, gather your tools. You’ll need a screwdriver set (Phillips and flathead), a multimeter, a non-magnetic spacer (like a plastic shim), a clean cloth, rubbing alcohol, and a steady work surface. For precision, a laser level or a small bubble level is handy.
