About Vacuum Coffee Makers
A vacuum coffee maker, or siphon brewer, uses vapour pressure and vacuum to brew coffee. Water in a lower chamber is heated until pressure pushes it into an upper chamber containing ground coffee. When heat is removed, the vacuum created draws the brewed coffee back down through a filter into the lower chamber. The result is an extraordinarily clean, tea-like coffee with remarkable clarity. Popular siphon brands include Hario, Yama, Bodum Santos, and KVW.
Vacuum Coffee Maker Repairs We Offer
Cracked Glass Chambers
Both upper and lower chambers of a siphon brewer are made from thin, heat-resistant glass that is vulnerable to thermal shock. We source replacement glass chambers for Hario, Yama, and Bodum Santos siphon systems.
Broken or Worn Seals
The rubber seal between the upper and lower chambers is critical for creating the vacuum. A worn or cracked seal prevents the vacuum from forming and causes brew failure. We replace siphon seals in all standard sizes.
Filter Damage (Cloth, Paper, Metal)
Siphon brewers use cloth, paper, or metal filters seated in the upper chamber. Torn cloth filters, clogged metal filters, and worn filter holders are replaced or cleaned.
Alcohol Burner and Beam Heater Servicing
Many siphon setups use an alcohol burner or halogen beam heater. We service burner wicks, clean burner reservoirs, and repair beam heater assemblies.
Stand and Frame Repairs
Siphon brewer stands — wood, metal, or chrome — can develop broken clamps or unstable bases. We repair stand hardware.
Electric Siphon Brewer Faults
Electric siphon coffee makers with integrated heating elements are serviced for element, thermostat, and control board faults.
